As a former preschool teacher and experienced behavioral therapist, I’ve gained some valuable insight along the way.
With degrees in both psychology and human development focused in early childhood, I spent two years working as a behavioral therapist. Following this, I expanded my expertise by teaching at a Waldorf-inspired preschool, furthering my knowledge of effective practices and allowing me to experience firsthand the advantages of blending fun with learning.
Throughout my many years in this field I’ve often noticed a disconnect between education and recreation. It is my belief that as a parent or caregiver you should not have to choose between your child’s learning and enjoyment, nor should balancing the two become an additional chore.
This belief is what inspired me to create Little Sprouts Play Place—a place designed to bridge the gap between the classroom and the playground, while offering caregivers access to a nurturing and thoughtful environment as well as valuable information.
Can’t wait to meet you 🤍
